'More information on 'Swept Away' -
Is it a dropped corsage or a clump of blossoms floating down stream?
Painting in a dreamlike state conjuring images post seizure, recovering slowly, becoming aware of my surroundings and smelling the paint and feeling the brush in my hand, my senses heightened.
The blue base was quite fluid with the addition of white, and as I painted this 'wet on wet' there was a lot of blending that naturally occurred. I love acrylic paints and the way different densities work together.
On a deep edged canvas measuring 10"x10" this piece is small enough not to take over but definitely big enough to make itself an engaging abstract for any room.
The painting is signed on both sides and being sold unframed. It will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity,
and sent wrapped in glassine paper to protect the front, corner protectors held on by cling wrap, encased in a waterproof bubble wrap and packaged in double-walled cardboard.
FREE UK DELIVERY Collection is also available on request.
