Selling at Sotheby's was a real 'pinch me' moment!
Greatest Gift Auction - National Youth Theatre
Just a quick note to let you guys know that The National Youth Theatre's 'Greatest Gift' online auction, ended with a soiree in London on 26th November, at The Blood Orange Bar Pimlico Road. Although I was invited I was unable to attend, but enormous congratulations to everyone who took part organising the event. Also to those who donated gifts as a fabulous total of nearly £99,000 was raised!
I'm very proud to say that my painting sold, making £400 towards the total.
Earlier in the year I was lucky enough to have a painting sell at auction at Sotheby's!
As part of the charity exhibition that SOTA Marketplace jointly curated with Dr Madeleine Haddon
'Art & Neurodiversity' @Sotheby's in aid of Fairshot (and National Brain Appeal)
The auction took place in the presence of HRH Princess Beatrice and other dignitaries.
Fetching £600, with 20% going to National Brain Appeal.
AND
'First Days Gala' @roundhouse in aid of The National Youth Theatre .
£250 my first donation to National Youth Theatre.
